HELIBERT, THE TOY HELICOPTER
is a collaboration with Frank’s wife, Frank’s wife’s brother and Frank’s wife’s friend.

Frank built a cardboard helicopter for kids to play in. Frank’s wife’s friend said, "Let’s produce and distribute it!" Frank’s wife and Frank’s wife’s brother took the visually compelling yet technically insufficient design and re-engineered it into a manufacturable product.

Frank then created the logotype for Raudi, the toy company behind Helibert, and the Helibert assembly instructions booklet.

Helibert is sold out.

DIRECTING CHANGE
Roland Berger asked Frank to illustrate an article about "Directing Change" for their corporate magazine ThinkAct. Frank transferred the topic into Stone Age society and delivered this pictographic comic strip.

THE DAY THE FONTS DISAPPEARED
Frank was asked by german design magazine ESCEHAERIFTE to fill three-pages with a comic. The topic was "All fonts gone". Frank wrote and drew his story about a world in which all the fonts have disappeared. It turns out, people find ways to live without writing. When in the end one guy claims he can write and proves it, nobody believes him because they can’t read anymore.

THINGS I LEARNED IN A FLAT SHARE
Magazine ZEIT Studienführer asked Frank to illustrate quotes of people who lived in flat shares.
Never leave hair in the sink.
Draw a clear line.

Coffee molds.
Go to flat-sharing tours alone and in a good mood.
